This day & night wedding took place on the beach in the Sandy Lane area of the west coast of Barbados. The couple rented a villa within yards of the famous Sandy Lane Hotel and afterwards moved into the garden of the villa for the wedding celebration. A small intimate gathering allowed for a setup permitting all guests to face each other. A great time was had by all.
This wedding took place in another villa on the west coast of Barbados on the pool deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The red carpet aisle provided the ideal path to wedded bliss and the pedestal flower arrangements completed the tropical paradise fantasy. The sound of the steel pan provided prelude music, heralded the entry of the bride and later provided reggea and calypso melodies for the cocktail hour. Below is the palate for the dinner & evening festivities on the varandah of the same villa. After Dinner, Emotions, a local band provided more reggae and calypso to dance the night away on the pool deck.

Above and below, a wedding at the historic George Washington House in Barbados. Both the ceremony and cocktail style reception were hosted at the venue on separate lawns.
The Bride choose to use a Chuppa for her ceremony instead of a conventional wedding arch.

Red & White was the colour scheme for this evening garden wedding, while the theme for the center pieces was based on sea shells. The actual ceremony took place not far away in another section of the garden. After dinner the happy couple partied into the wee hours of the morning dancing under a starlit sky.
Wedding Reception Around The Pool Daytime View
This very recent wedding ( above and in the album below )was held at a villa on the west coast of Barbados just north of Holetown in May 2008. The ceremony for this British couple was conducted on the lawn looking out to the Caribbean sea and the reception set, literally around the pool on the grounds. The brides choice of warm festive colours for her decor provided a contrast to the blues of the gentle Caribbean sea. A fully dressed and lit tent added to the decor and protected the guests from the elements without compromising the outdoor feel of the event. The garden was also nicely lit to celebrate the occasion.
